This illustration was created by me in 2021 and was inspired by the Yin and Yang Taiji diagram, which represents the cycle of energy and balance. Nowadays, the conflict between economic development and environmental protection is becoming more and more prominent. On the one hand, we pursue economic development brought about by technological advances to improve material living standards; on the other hand, the resources we use to manufacture new products depend on the exploitation of natural resources, and the destruction of the natural environment becomes the price of development, with the balance between the two in jeopardy. Only by following the path of sustainable development can we maintain the balance between yin and yang and save nature, the cornerstone of human development.
