"Strange things happening on the old road. Feels like a time-loop. Funny to look at it now. Familiar steps but a path that leads somewhere else. Many others have gone by this way. I walk here now to raise them up." Examining landscape's liminal spaces, on an ancient way marking the meeting of three English counties, using vintage reclaimed equipment, 'Lighting Out' is a lost memory. It was shot and walked among the ghosts of the Icknield Way. Yvonne "Evie" Salmon is director of The Alchemical Landscape Project (University of Cambridge), she is an Irish-British academic, writer, artist and filmmaker.
